 Well, I'm home again. The clothes packing? Um... got sidetracked by serious loads of laundry and a ton of ironing.

Then... the Mom caught me watching the S1 finale of my Dead Zone (yeah, you all know what scene I was trying to get to :P) while ironing, and asked to watch from the beginning. Since I'm a good TVShowFanConverter, I suggested she watch from the very first ep of S1. Surprise! PoohMom got really into it, and as soon as the first ep finished, she immediately wanted to watch the next ep. By the time I finished ironing, we had finished watching the entire first disc. Okay... so it was only 3 eps, but for the PoohMom to sit still for that long? A miracle. Then it was a really big surprise when she admitted that she watched parts of another ep once on TV, but could never remember what time the show was on so she kept missing it. Best (and possibly strangest... and if anyone knew PoohMom, you'd agree) part of the entire experience? She decided to go to bed after the first disc, but made me swear that I wouldn't take my dvds with me to the apartment because she now loves the show and wants to finish the season (meanwhile, I'm waiting for S2 dvds, dammit).

*pumps fist* Aww yeah. I'm doing my civic and humanitarian duty, making the world a better place for all. I'm going to convert the PoohMom into watching GOOD TV, and not that Lifetime shit she's constantly watching. all. the. time. Or as One called her, "a Lifetime fangirl." LMFAO.

And just because watching the pilot ep made me kinda teary again (mostly crying because I never did get to THAT part in the S1 finale before the PoohMom took over).... shippy goodness!
