 Made it home in record time. Um... following all traffic laws. Yep. Uh huh.

And what greeted me as soon as I pulled into the driveway? Thing 2's new car - a tiny, toy-like Rav4. Blah. Unlike Thing 1 when she got her car, Thing 2 actually insisted I drive it around the block. Actually, she told me to drive it to the post office since she had to drop off some letters. It was my first time driving a (baby) SUV, if you can believe that, and it was... strange. But in a very empowering way. There's just something about sitting higher than the rest of the cars around you that gives you a power boost. Heh.

But gah... I couldn't help but think that if things were slightly different, I could have been driving my new car today instead of Thing 2's. Unfortunately, that didn't happen because of my Sainthood. It's a tough job, being so incredibly generous and unselfish... :P
