Back from a day in NYC. *yawn* Tired. Feet hurt. We tried to do the Statue of Liberty thing, but there was a huge line just to buy the darn tickets. Instead, we took the Staten Island Ferry (free, baby!!) and just went past it. Oh well. Good enough. Stopped by Grand Central Station, took some pics, then walked to Times Square for lunch. After that, we went to the Park, debated whether it was Wollman Rink in Serendipity, watched the zamboni guy (he sucked) and the staff (cute young guys skating around, woohoo!), walked all the way up to 70-something St. Strolled back down Fifth to see the Tree. I got to use my god-given, NY-born and bred skillz to push those damn tourists out of the way. Heh. Twin did the obligatory T-shirt shopping, and then we walked back to Times Square. Finally, caught the train at Penn to come home. Tiring.
We didn't go to the Museum of Sex. :( Sadness. lol
I must be losing my touch with the stalking thing. Sighness. Walked by the Palace Theater, and only managed to softly call out Adam's name. ("Aaaadam! Adaaaam!" and "Viiiictor! Viiiiictor!) Heh. Didn't see either of them, or else I would have found a camera to take pics for Meg. ;) As we went by the ABC building and saw the huge Alias poster in the window, did the "Saaaark...Saaaark...Daaaavid...David, come out..." thing. Then eventually found the CNN building and did the "Anderson...Anderson...Anderson... come play with me, Anderson..." thing. As you can well imagine, I went 0/3. ::cries:: So you know, when we went by the Disney store and then the ABC studio (the second time) and I was calling for Lance... I wasn't really expecting anything to happen. Heh. I must be maturing, because in my younger, wilder days, I probably would have put more effort into the whole stalking thing. Grrr.
But...
Tomorrow, when we try to do the Times Square New Year's thing... Dick Clark? Fair game. ;)
